I was surprised to see lot of people asking questions on Treeview (winforms) and most of them were how to add node , remove etc. So thought I will write some series of article to illustrate the usage of treeview and the outcome is the first one (an introduction) of TreeView in the Windows form -

Hari's Wedding

27th and its Hari's wedding.

I reached my Sister's hostel @ exactly 5:45 AM and took her in the bike to Chrompet. It was a looooooooooooooooooooooong drive from Adyar. I thought the wedding was in Chennai. If I had pushed to vehicle for another 3 - 4hours, I would have reached Coimbatore itself.

The wedding went on fine. I will post the photos once I have them moved to the laptop from my dig cam.

In the evening I went with my sister to Spenzer Plaza. God, its so big, I would have got lost. We just did some window shopping and were back to her hostel after dinner. I had to leave Chennai and she was as usual not very happy. Anyways I am back in B'lore now.....

Back to work.....

Hari's Wedding

27^th being Hari's wedding I reached Chennai on the 26^th. I came a day before so that I can also spend some useful time with my Sister @ Chennai. We had lunch together. Oh, God; she is travelling in this harsh traffic. I am worried about her safe driving...

In the evening we went to the Ashta-Lakshmi temple in Besant nagar. Its a beautiful temple situated in the Beseant nagar beach. All the 8 Lakshmi's are the adorn the temple here.

The dinner was with my Sister and we made plans to reach the Mantap tomorrow morning. As I was new to the place, my sister came with me from her hostel to my friend's place and I drove her back to her hostel so that I am sure of the way to her hostel in the morning. Or else I am sure to miss Hari's wedding.

My sis was very happy that I am with her for 2 days....
Needless to say me too....

My Engagement with Ranima

The day is more significant not only because its my engagement day but also its my Sister's birthday. You would be wondering how come, her birthday was on the 18th. Thats my Sister, she loves to celebrate both her birthdays (one based on the English calendar and based on the star). She was looking beautiful as usual in the pink designer wear I bought her. She was thrilled to meet her "to-be Bhabhi" (elder brother's wife). She had bought a wonderful set for her bhabhi. I am sure Ranima is going to love her more than me ;).

About Ranima - She is from Trichur doing her final MSc. Maths now. I was impressed with her on one thing - her ambition is to teach. Teaching for her is not just as a profession but a passion. She is as short as my MOM and ..... wait I am bad in this. I will try posting some pics of the engagement instead.

We reached Ranima's house by 11:00 and the ceremony started in 15 - 20 mins. Did not last for more than 15 min. I had bought a diamond ring for the engagement. A flash back here - this happened on the 14th April , the New Year of Tamil nadu & Kerala (VIshu). We (Hari, my room mate & myself) went to buy a gold ring and to our surprise found that there are no ring for ladies weighing more than 3 grams of Gold, and I was told to get nothing less than 8 gms. Finally, we went to Tanishq thinking we might be able to get what we are looking for. Not to say more finally ended up getting the diamond ring. Before purchasing I called up my sis to check if I can really go ahead with this. She said Bhaiyya, thats great. Buy it & I did not think twice.

Now she says, only non-kanjoosie my brother has shown is this.....
Now back , after the ceremony it was photo session (which was boring). But still had to smile & play around so that people feel happy about the whole thing. After the photo session, my sis gave her gift and you should be seeing Ranima's face brightening up and saying WOW. She immediately wore the Ring from the set. I know now for sure both the in-laws are going to be the great pals forever....

This was followed by lunch & we are back to Coimbatore. And night I am travelling back to Bangalore...

My Sister's Birthday

Another Birthday of hers and I am not there with her :(.
I know she would not enjoy this birthday as I am not with her nor our parents.

But I wanted to make her day happier. So called up @ 0000 hrs exactly and she answered the call Bhaiyyaaaa....
I wished her & she replied Good Night Bhaiyya. Poor she, she is very tired and She misses us a lot.

I had already send her Birthday Gift which reached her on Saturday itself. Sure, she is going to wear the set I bought her and the dress as well and proudly declare to her colleagues, that, this my Bhaiyya's gift to me.....

Kuttumaa, Happy Birthday to you.. May God shower all his love and affection on you...
Kuttumaa, I miss you a lot......
